For Example:

I sometimes love to go over again basics I learned a while ago. Why?

Because it helps solidify the concepts and identify subtleties that you didn’t notice the first time round. So ready for a refresh with a twist?

SMART goals is a well established methodology for goal setting. The thing?

It comes short of working, especially for online entrepreneurs like you! You need more!

Here come my personal add-on to the SMART goal setting method: The SMART PRO goal setting method!

Try my “SMART-PRO” criteria for goal setting (an optimised approach to the well-known SMART method): ensure your goals are:

  • S: Specific
  • M: Measurable
  • A: Achievable
  • R: Relevant
  • T: Time-bound, plus

Here is the crucial reasoning behind my “PRO” add-on.

    • You must have articulated what is the personal desire you want to fulfill for you to be motivated to go after a goal.

    • Answer the question: “what is in it for you?” A goal that isn’t outcome driven doesn’t inspire enough and keep you focused.

      • For example compare this two versions of a goal: “to create a course to learn Pinterest in Q4” (product-driven) vs. “to launch a Pinterest course in Q4 to empower online entrepreneurs to grow their leads and sales online for more time freedom” (outcome-driven)

  • OUTSTANDING

    • Only when you feel a goal is special enough, you give your all at achieving it.

      • So while goal setting frameworks insist in making them achievable, it is as important that you feel stretched enough to put yoour energy into it.

This framework helps you balance stretch goals with achievable ones, making sure you’re always moving forward without losing your footing!
